Sorry for the delay. This turned out to be a lot harder than I thought as the entries were all great and each showed a different approach to the cityscape theme
jmschrei- terrific B&W shot. I love the river bank in the foreground leading out to the city, merging natural and man-made environments. Great contrast and those clouds are wonderfully dramatic.
Tamia- love the perspective of this weathered building, together with that 'No trespassing' sign, it makes for a very intriguing shot!
Patrick9- lovely light and composition leading to that beautiful clock tower. Minus the flags and it could be a street here in Australia...it has a very familiar feeling about it.
noelcm- very peaceful setting, love the colours and the reflections from the boats and trees...with the buildings off in the distance, this makes a lovely city-escape.
Papa Lazarou- great composition with strong lines leading out to Westminister Cathedral, love the reflections and that roof top is fab.
jheu02- great capture of downtown NYC life. I love the construction going on on one side and the reflections and signage on the other, and that giant poster of the person with the globe for a head, really makes the shot, for me.
Tsukiouji- very cool shot. Love the sense of motion from the trail lights and those on car are great! With that beautiful old building in that background, it could be a scene from a movie.
Second place: jheau02- terrific capture with so much to see.
This weeks winner and the next judge: jmschrei- excellent shot and the B&W was the perfect choice.
