Welcome to PROJECT 52-6 for the year 2014.

Images for Project 52-6-8 are to be taken between the 31 March 2014 - 6 April 2014

Here is some websites that will be of help.
Cloud Photography: 14 Tips For Taking Radiant Cloud Photos | Mosaic
How to Photograph Clouds (With 12 Beautiful Examples)

This one may prove a bit difficult again, and I am aware that some places are still experiencing snow and lousy weather. Lets see what we can do!

Rules
1. Anyone and everyone interested in the challenge is eligible. The goal continues to be
have fun and share comments, concepts, insights, and techniques with fellow
Pentaxians.
2. Each week will feature a Theme and Sub-concept for you to explore.
3. Post your single picture in Project 52-6 thread for the week. Explain what
motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly
theme.
4. Some post-processing is OK (adjusting white balance, exposure, color
saturation), but let's try to stay away from heavily PP'ed images here. Try to
keep the creativity to photographic techniques and the captures themselves.
5. Since this project is about technique, and not camera, shots taken by non Pentax cameras are allowed.
Cameras may be SLRs, DSLRs, Point & Shoot, Medium Format, et cetera.
6. There is one “Theme Concept” labeled “black and white,” but feel free to post
black and white, sepia, monotone, etc., for any of the other themes.
7. The picture you post should be taken during the week in which the theme is
active to be eligible for judging.
8. Any picture taken from thread start date to listed closing date is acceptable.
9. The WINNER of each weekly challenge is the JUDGE of the next week's Project 52-6.
10. The Facilitator (in this case noelcmn) may participate in the challenge, provided he/she is not the judge.
11. Closing date for the challenge is Sunday at midnight in your time zone. Late entries are accepted but subject to the acceptance by the current weeks
Judge.

Good luck everyone, and happy clicking!

Clouds

These are not the most dramatic clouds, but they do assist the composition of a tern who was periodically flying around the ferry I was on (perhaps s/he was wanting to get photographed).
I may replace this if we get better clouds this week. Otherwise, I thought this might help get things started. BTW this shot is SOOC.

To push this weeks challenge, I'm going to nominate my only shot with clouds so far.

Well, It's another reflection in our pool, haha, and this time most of it contains the sky. and I rotated the shot for a better view.

I may change my entry if I found anything better.

There were some nice clouds in the sky this afternoon. I decided to set them off against this sculpture from Calgary's Confederation Park, a piece of art that just screams 1967 - the year of Canada' centennial.

Some great entries this week.
Well we went from gray skies/Thunderstorms most of the week, to these wisps yesterday ,to not a cloud in the sky today. For a change this are not SOOC. I see I have a dirty sensor I need to clean today . I cloned out 4 pieces of dirt from the image. This was a good challenge for finding those sort of things
