Welcome to the Weekly Challenge #55: Perspective

We all have different ways of looking at things and this week's challenge lets you show off your unique perspective. In photography, capturing a unique perspective could involve a wide angle lens, shooting from the ground up, or using an object to provide an interersting leading line.

Please submit entries by 7 AM EST on Monday, May 5, 2008.

The rules are as always:

The rules:
1. Post ONE photo (max 800x800) as a response to THIS post.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme. It can be colour or B&W, your choice.
3. You can offer as much or as little additional information as you wish, but I'd be interested to know the location/event/whatever being depicted.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. The challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.

When I read the challenge as Perspective I have quite a few shots I considered. I think the fisheye will do nicely for this challenge as it offers a unique perspective

Here's a shot I took from the 48th floor of an office tower on Park Ave. It's not the best shot as it was taken through glass but definitely an interesting perspective.

This "pirate" ship was offering on-deck tours to help raise funds for its Great Lakes voyage. Paid the five bucks and got some pretty cool shots, including this perspective of the centre mast.
