I just found out that my internet is going to die and I need to send in my modem to get it calibrated for another satellite so, I'll just make this quick.

Hope you get your internet back soon. I hate being without that for very long, as in a few minutes, I couldn't deal without for days.

Congrats JCDoss, you made it again.

Your shot wondered me alot, I never thought the M50/1.4 is so sharp wide open.
Also congrats to Noel, the wide angle feel to your shot was so nice.
And Joris, you made it to top third for the first time posting here, well done.

Thanks for another week of excellent photos and discussion! Congrats to all winners and participants! I'm going to be out of town this weekend until late Monday. Does anyone object to holding this week's challenge thru Monday night? I can judge on Tuesday.

Speaking for myself, I would be comfortable with running this week's contest through Monday with judging on Tuesday (as JCDoss suggests), as long as the Facilitator (NoelCMN) is.

Yay, thanks for the 3rd place! And for the warm welcome, everybody. I'm definitely motivated to submit more now, and to write a proper introduction post ;-)

One question, what does 52-6 stand for? I couldn't find it anywhere. I guess the 52 are the weeks in a year...

6 is the number of years this challenge was running so far! and 52 is just the name of challenge which is a weekly challenge for one year.

Congratulations JCDoss-Again-Just love the colors in that shot! Spot on for this challenge. Congrats too Joris- fine shot as noted earlier. Thanks for the 2nd spot-a bit of a surprise, as I thought some others in this challenge were more in contention than my last minute shot. Anyway' I'll take the coveted 2nd spot, and thanks to RollsUp for judging this one. Hope you come right with your internet connection.

That use to be done quite often, judging on Tuesday. That gave everyone that shot late on Sunday a chance to get the photo uploaded on Monday. I have no problem with Tuesdy judging

Excellent! I'll be camping this weekend with limited or no internet access. I'll survey the damage when I get back on Monday night, and will hopefully recover enough to render a decision sometime on Tuesday.
