4) Runs for 7 days <Sunday Date> to <Sunday Date>
5) Enter anything you shot last week or this current week until the thread closes.

Thanks a lot LaRee. I appreciate your comment. Must be something in those flowers that the ants love, they get right down inside the bowl of the flower, must be the nectar I imagine.Myabe that is how the flowers pollinate, using ants.,
So thanks for your thoughts on my photo, especially considering , as I said, I am finding difficulty with focussing M lens, with my ageing eyesight. The people on here have been fabulous, they have helped immensly.
Thats the value of these Forums really coming to the fore.

Bruce, love your macro shot with the ant. Very well done!

maxwell1295, loved how well you captured the water droplets on the leaf.

Oldschool, very nice series of shots. The 18-55mm and 50-200mm kit lenses are under-rated imo.

gawan, loved your shots, especially of the little ones.

mtnbearhug, very nice. Enjoyed seeing them, especially the graduate shot.

dantuyhoa, i really enjoyed seeing your series. Love the tree and the shadow shot.

Dale, with all that rust around it looks like tetanus territory. Nice shots.

Found these flowers at a heritage cemetery today. Used my M 50/1.7 lens.

Not the place you'd expect to find blue berries.

These flowers were so tiny.

Closer view.

Car Show

I already posted a 65 Cobra shot in the Post your photos thread but here are some others nice cars. The 54 Chevy belongs to my neighbor Rose and she won a trophy. Bright sunshine and all those polished cars made it tough getting pictures. You could see the reflections of the other cars in the paint jobs.

Dale : love your 'country' shots. Particularly like the two rusty shots. Portrays the farming element in a very obtuse way. well done!
Reeftool: those cars are real icons. Love the colours. I imaginethat is a doll at the front of the car, or is it a child? Very interesting shots ,well done.(Just noticed the first doll so it is obvious now!)
Thanks AML, I really like your flower shots as well. they are great!

Edsel Mania!

Went to a friend's house for Memorial Day. Ray (my friend) has just added to his classic car collection. Here's one of his babies:

Here's another:

The front ends of two more:

And, finally, his "new" one, a '57 Edsel:

The lighting wasn't perfect, and the display aesthetics were non-existent, but I still like how many of these pictures turned out.

Hatching spiders is perhaps the scariest photo I've ever seen (aside from war photojournalism type stuff).

AML : Thanks . That shot was done with good old ZX-7 FA 28-80 . Expired Fujifilm .

Dale : Your "rusty" series is interesting .

NewportPreacher : Love that 57 shot !

Dave Kitson : I have never seen spiders like that ! WOW!
