4) Runs for 7 days <Sunday Date> to <Sunday Date>
5) Enter anything you shot last week or this current week until the thread closes.

A walk by the sea this morning. Beautiful. Two shots here, both taken with M lens. I dont rate them as anything special, but they are very relaxing shots anyway.
1. with M135 f3.5
2. with M 50 f2.0

Nice shot!

I was actually thinking about going to Belmont Park next weekend for the Belmont Stakes, but I may go this weekend instead. It'll be a lot easier to stake out a good spot to shoot from. Belmont Day is an absolute nightmare...

I have to agree with Maxwell. Being the father of a very curious 2 year old girl this photo makes me think of how many time I see my own daughter do the same thing. We really have to cherish these times with our kids.

Maxwell1295 & dws1117...thank you for the kind words!

My wife and I became interested in photography a few years ago and decided to pick up an old film SLR (Minolta x700). We used that for a few years before moving to the *Ist DS, and now the K10D. We have thousands of pictures of our two girls (2.5yrs and 7mos now).

Both of us are self taught (read some books, trial and error, reading message boards), and through the encouragement of family and friends decided to go into business photographing families/children/babies/belly's in unposed/casual ways. We are just getting started this Spring.

It's an exciting time for us right now. If we can turn this into F/T employment for one, or both, of us - great! If not, we are enjoying our hobby and the time we are spending together doing this.

I really appreciate your feedback.

P.S. Logo name comes from the first letter of our daughters first names. Image is designed to signify a smiling face.

Dave(daacon ) : That "sport" shot cracks me up !

frank : Nice IR shots . I have a few IR with both K10D and DS but it's much easier with DS . the kit lens is very well suited for IR , I think .

coffee : I agree with maxwell . That shot is sweet .

You only see what you want ( IR that is )

DS + kit lens .

Thanks.

I was never really into horse racing. I just saw a TV commercial and thought Id do something different for a change. I ended up donating some money I was going to use to buy a bag. Had a blast though.

Ash - Nice flowers ....

woof - great fog / mist on the water - love that shot

Danloc78 - you are right had you not mentioned that was a night time shot I would not have noticed - nice capture

LaRee - thanks for the identification and comments. I think that red winged balckbird is one of my best bord shots to date.

Bruce - nothing special when you can walk there everyday !! Try living in land locked Alberta and see how much you miss the ocean.

MajOglitch - nice series - the horses out of the gate is very good.

coffee - wow love them all athough #1 is just about perfect.

Tran - nice IR gonna have to get into that ...
