Weekly Challenge 315: "Done"

Maybe it's a project you finally finished. Maybe it's the end of the line for something.

Post your best interpretation of the theme in any form.

Here's my starter: (If it's too big go to your account and in Edit Options near the bottom to set the H and V size).

The challenge will run through Sunday evening Feb. 22th - California Time.

The fine print:

Everyone is eligible to send in their best interpretation of the given theme, as long as the photo is taken with a Pentax/Samsung camera. Themes can be subject-oriented or technique-oriented.

1. Post ONE photo per entry.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and optionally explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs through Sunday evening California time. Plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Samsung DSLR) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge

Abandoned Candelilla factory in Big Bend National Park. Candelilla is a desert plant used to make wax, and candelilla wax was big business around WWI and WWII when there was huge demand for wax for waterproofing equipment. A small village and even a military outpost grew up around Glenn Springs. When the land became a national park, the factory was abandoned and partially dismantled, and the houses of the village were razed to the ground. This, and a small cemetery, are all that are left.

I like this theme. Here is a water feature project that was finished late last year. My real job is landscape construction, and I really love working on projects such as this.

There is still life in a freshly cut tree, but if you get too are done for.

Shot with SMC A 35-105 at f/10, there's still life in this old piece of glass too.

Corn planting

After hours of working under the scorching heat of the sun, corn planting is almost done.
