Posted By: frank, 06-03-2008, 02:25 AM

Welcome to the Weekly Challenge #60: Sunrises

I'd love to see your best sunrise photos here in this competition.

Please submit entries till midnight GMT on Monday, Tuesday, Jun 10, 2008.

HAVE FUN!

The rules are as always:

The rules:
1. Post ONE photo (max 1000x1000, I prefer bigger sized ones ) as a response to THIS post.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme. It can be colour or B&W, your choice.
3. You can offer as much or as little additional information as you wish, but I'd be interested to know the location/event/whatever being depicted.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. The challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.

LOL, I just realized that I have not a single sunrise either, have to get a grip from my self to do that some day, although the sun rises here already after three a clock or so, and soon it nearly does not go down at all...

Does it mean one photo per person or one photo per reply?

Sunrise

always difficult to consider exactly which is one's best shot. i have several sunrises all of which elicit different emotional responses to dawn, i chose this one, although the least correctly exposed of the series, for its mood, and for the sun flare through the clouds that bespeaks of morning bursting forth...../hope you enjoy....

winter Hyde Park

here is my entry. It was taken in December 07, when I was testing my Xmas gift (Sigma 10-20). It was freezing and I forgot my gloves but I think it was well worth it...
