332 - Path
Posted By: sealonsf, 10-27-2015, 05:35 PM

I like the idea of a path, a path through the woods, a bicycle path, a walkway, a garden path, a route or track along which something moves (the path of a hurricane), or even the path your life has taken. Be creative, have fun with the idea.

I'll start it off with a few examples from my photos.

This challenge will close on Monday, November 2, midnight USA Pacific Time.

Everyone is eligible to send in their best interpretation of the given theme, as long as the photo is taken with a Pentax/Samsung camera. Themes can be subject-oriented or technique-oriented.

Rules
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Samsung DSLR) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge

Mountain Path...
... and maybe also the path of life, with youth fading into the distance and old age moving closer.

I've been very impressed with the photos so far. Judging will not be an easy task but keep them coming! Ends Monday, November 2.

Rock Harbor --Orleans Cape Cod Ma. marks the channel with this "path" so that the incoming pleasure boats won't get hung up when the sand is covered. The trees are put in every year to mark the channel. It is a tourist attraction.--Check it out-google Rock Harbor Trees.--charliezap

The path up Stob Dubh in Glencoe, Scotland.

A photo taken whilst out walking in Glencoe last week. On the way up to the summit of Stob Dubh the black clouds started gathering and not soon after this picture was taken a brutal hail storm enveloped us.

I agree. Getting older may have advantages, but it's a very short list. With all the money we give the government, they should be able to do something about it.

They are waiting for a report from younger experts on aging.

path to the future

Near the middle of town is this bare hill or mound, once the scene of frenzied excavations and though all that digging was abandoned long ago they've never built here since. And now we just have these steps going up and this little ditch going down

Death walk. A man walks a familiar path through a cemetery, on a misty morning.
