Feel free to post any topic you enjoy that was photographed between June 22nd and July 6th.

Rules as before:
1) No theme just your favorite stuff.
2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week .
3) Any Pentax camera is fine, film, P&S, DSLR (or Samsung DSLR)
4) Runs for 7 days <Sunday Date> to <Sunday Date>
5) Enter anything you shot last week or this current week until the thread closes.

Not too much to look at here, but it's one of the early shots from my newly acquired K200D, so I felt compelled to post something...

Alan ( maxwell1295) - Very nice first shot .

I have a dare for you , Sir Alan :

Take "artsy" images of your wife's shoes with the new K200D .

I acquired a ME Super a while back . It came with a bunch of stuffs . Funny thing I notice about Pentax users . I bought just a camera /lens from them . We met and talked photography . Show some photos and then before I knew it they gave me a whole bunch off stuffs ! I even offered to pay extra but they are happy to give it away . Heck , the guy I bought the 1958 K from even tested me on photography before agree to sell ! And then he gave me a whole bunch of old film canisters !

Anyway , this one is with the DOT +4 ( came with the Super ) filter on FA50/1.4

OK, I'll join in on this. I always see good images posted in POTW, I hope mine aren't too out of place

Those orange day lilies grow like weeds around here, here's one with flash:

and with natural light:

Some great shots all a really nice variety .....

Tran - nice start I like the first shot of the bookeeper a nice pose . Nice to see some more from Jack London's ruins - looks like you got a few shots nicely done.

Georg - nice ferris wheel shot - we will have the summer fair here in a couple of weeks.

k100d - the first one looks like a puzzel very good. I just ate but looking again I am hungry

Stratman - nice flowers. Really like the second one - yellow pops and nice DOF.

woof - Wow that shot really does it for me. The mist / fog - beautiful serene scene.

Peter - have to agree the Butterfly is the best of the lot - although I also like the tiger - always reminds me of Monty Python - A tiger .... in Africa ?

Alan - I like what I am seeing from the K200D - nice shot.

Slowpez - nice series - good capture on the ripe and unripe berries

Tim - another nice flower series. I like #2 the best - please post more.

Here a few landscapes from me for a weekend get-away

Very nice, Dave.....love the scenery.

The K200D looks to be a nice upgrade from the K100D which I still have as a backup/2nd body. The very first thing I noticed is how quiet the shutter is in comparison to the K100D.

Tim - I like the second one . Look more real to me .

Dave - nice weekend get away . The middle lake photo is so nice . They have some lakes here that I plan to visit but with all the forest fires , can't go !

Lazy Birding

Don't do this at home !

I stacked all the DOT filters I found ( +7 ) and played with it . Not too good I say but still look like a fun picture .

The FA50/1.4 was still doing AF with +7 DOT !

Sorry don't have time at the moment to individually reply, but so far all shots look great.

Here's two flower shots i took today inside my Chiropractor's waiting room. Taken with my M 50/1.7

I could have cropped the 2nd one better but it's been done in a hurry.

I thought this shot was something really quaint. A Yellow Crested Cockatoo, with about 10 others, landed high in this Coral tree, attracted by the flowers. Using my Sigma 135-400 on k10d I managed to take a few shots of the flock. However this shot I thought was something a bit special. The attitude of the Cockie holding his nibble in one foot really made me smile. They have extremely strong beaks and just break off anything they want.

Tran - thanks for the comments yeah it's lake country there really hot weather and great scenery - nice pics +7 and AF wow DOF is a pin head

Aml - wow that second shot is so life like very well done .

Maxwell1295 (alan)- thanks for the comments ..

Here are a few of a beach we spent a few days at - thank god for the trees. In Canada (at least here) the sand is not quite white enough so when it gets to be +40 celsius that sand is cooking hot.

It was a ball tournament we were at and when we had time between games it was off to the beach - fisheye view of worse ways to spend a few hours and yep those are my feet

I'll choose some unlike those posted above. As usual these link to the corresponding Flickr pages. Shots are not yet public -- you saw them first here, folks!

These are from a series of our old boiler, now disconnected and ready for removal, if we can ever figure out how to move it. Taken with the Vivitar Series 1 105mm macro.

The next are taken with my lightweight fave, the Cosina/Vivitar 100mm f/3.5 macro. Both patterns formed by the same building.

Bruce - that is a neat capture - almost looks he/she wants to present it to a mate

Garth1948 - mid witer and fishing eh - we do that here as well. Abiet we wear a few more clothes - and the water is in a solid state.

rparmar - nice series - looks like that boiler has seen better days. I really like the sky- grid shot.
