This is the third in a series of weekly photo challenges for K-1 owners. Each week there will be a different theme and a different judge. The winner will get to pick a prize and will also be the judge for the following week!

Currently I have the following goodies available:

• Pentax K-1 notebooks w/ USB drive
• Pentax K-1 t-shirts (XL size, back reads "my other camera is a Pentax 645Z")
• Pentax K-1 lens cleaning cloths (each winners gets two)

This week's theme is 50mm Photos (thanks to the K-1, this iconic focal length is finally back to being "normal") and submissions will be accepted through July 2nd.

Hi, this one was shot last weekend in my friends appartement while we were all dancing at their engagement party
Was shooting in b&w, it was late and b&w was the best choice for various party lights.
Oh, and i'm sorry i've got no 50mm ! it's done with the DA*55mm, which works very well on K-1 FF mode you can consider this a crop

I was going to say that anything between 40mm and 60mm is fine.

This is a crop from a photo of a one day bloom of a cactus in our yard - taken with D-FA 50mm F2.8 Macro. Original is 7360x4912 cropped down to 1259x1007.

By the way our little dog and me were laying on the sofa in our living room. Most of the light came from the tv screen.

I think your photo is a perfect representation of what normal lenses are meant to do: to give us a natural view of a scene without too much magnification or a too wide field of view.
