I know I'm' going to regret this come judging time but I want to see your best, most compelling, or different shot taken at a zoo or wildlife sanctuary.

This challenge will close on July 12th at Noon EDST.

The Rules

Rules
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Ricoh DSLR ) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, then the winner will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

This one evokes a human emotion even when it might not be the true emotion of the animal.

In my city i visit a place called "Vieros de Coyoacán". Its like a big park. Once you enter you are in squirrell territory. This little bandit bully me and stole my banana i had my pentax qs1 on hand (as always), so at least i could get the shot. I could only wait until it finish it and could get my bag and my tablet that i leaved on the trunk.

As fun as watching animals at the Zoo can be, watching people at the Zoo can be just as interesting, if not more so. On this day a group of young visitors were really interested in the penguins at Riverbanks Zoo. I didn't have my tripod and wasn't sure if the photograph would turn out, but thankfully the light from the exhibit was just good enough to pick up the spectators.

Normally prefer to see these in the wild spaces of the Kruger Park, but there I can never get this close. Johannesburg Zoo.
