Challenge #363 "Circles"

Geometry again! Show us your circles....things in the round....you local sewing circle....crop circles....bubbles.....anything to do with circles!

Some examples attached

The thread will run to midnight (BST) on Thursday, September 14th. I will be flexible about time zones if need be.

The Rules

1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Ricoh DSLR ) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, then the winner will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

But I think the rules state you can have one entry, so you might want to tell us which one of the pictures is the entry for the challenge :

I am sorry for my breach of rules. I guess I will go with second image - the full flower, the Yellow Dahlia. I have edited the original post to eliminate the extra entry.

Here's mine, a cool wildflower in Kings Park, Western Australia, under a macro you can see it's made up of many smaller flowers, like a fractal.

Phenomenal shots! I like to use these challenges as an exercise so I go out to take a new picture under the theme. It's not too hard to look for circles... as soon as I thought "bokeh bubbles" someone had already beat me to it... so here's a picture of a circle instead

Taken with my new-to-me Vivitar 24mm f/2.8 by Cosina... a lens a bit underrated here due to the phenomenal Sigma Superwide II and of course the great colors to fhe Pentax K 24 2.8... but I think the Cosina design holds its own!

Unlike a circle, this competition has now come to an end!!! I will have to spend some time pondering before publishing the results.
