Thanks to LondonWombat for giving us such a group of interesting challenges and to geomez for hosting last week.

Kermit (the frog) always insisted that it wasn't easy being green but I am certain that this group of fine photographers will show us how false that statement is.

Guidelines for each week would be that the colored area should be the focus of the photo - or a sizeable portion of it.

This week we are going Green, glorious green. The envy of the neighborhood, Make green the star of the show.

I will be out of town until next Sunday so we will close this challenge on Saturday, November 19th at midnight your timezone.

The Rules:

1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Ricoh DSLR ) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, then the winner will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

Anybody up for some green tomatoes? I've been away for awhile and I have no idea what B ROYGBIV W means. Can anybody help with that?

I just got home an hour ago so please forgive me for being late closing the challenge. I will hopefully have the results up no later than tomorrow. I want to thank everyone for the wonderful entries. This will be a tough one to judge.
