#374 - Spectrum Color Challenge - White · **1 Like**

LondonWombat suggested a weekly challenge to start with BLACK, then each subsequent week, move through all colors of the visual spectrum (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet) and then end with WHITE.

After violet, we reached the last one in this little series: WHITE. I think this is rather tough, also because I will return to the original guidelines: white must be the focus in the posted photos. This doesn't mean it has to be the dominant colour though....

The Challenge will close on Friday, December 23rd, midnight in your time zone.

The Rules:

1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Ricoh DSLR ) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, then the winner will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

But the main rule: have fun!

No examples: you know what is white and what not. I'd say: let them come!!!

This was my buddy while we were vacationing in Florida. It didn't hurt that I had meat scraps to entice him to pose. I tried to balance the flash with the sunset and him to get a decent shot of my friend.

Not an extreme white but rather the different shades of snow when the weather is not that good (overcast).

Ouch.... numbers, not my strongest point! This must be a mistake, I will change the date. It's a weekly challenge, after all, it would be weird to stretch it another week, wouldn't it?
