This challenge will be about eyes. It doesn't need to be a closeup of eyes, but the eye or eyes need to be important to the photo. Have fun!

The challenge will close on midnight Your Time on Saturday, 18 February 2017.

The Rules:

1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Ricoh DSLR ) camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

a lot to choose from but I chose the first time I saw a reflection in an eye

this is a captive disabled screech owl from the Topeka Zoological Park photographed as it was being hand held in an alley

I was attending a photo class and I chose to use my K 3 + Tamron AF 70 - 300 mm macro zoom ld 1:2 set at 300 mm.

the building reflected is the parking garage

I now always do a close crop of the eyes of any thing I photograph to see if I have captured any other such reflections.
