A good total of 23 entries this week with a great variety of interpretations. Here are my totally subjective comments:

Slowpez A lovely flowe portrait Susan, good composition and lighting
Vaskebjorn – very interesting idea, not easy to capture the full 3-d effect with ice, but you have done it here!
RGlasel- thoughtful shot and very nice lighting
atupdate what a well constructed picture
sealonsf - mood very well captured and great use of shadows
Tamia - terrific shot very dramatic light perhaps a little 2D? Composition is great- I'd put this on my wall!
Arjay Bee - composition and lighting work well together in this one
geomez great textureand very 3D - works well in mono
simon_199 - expressive shot for a wooden mannequin!
eva - terrific lighting, a great shot
charliezap- great subject and the lighting is atmospheric
Bruce Clark – great shot sharp and with full 3-d effect
Special K- classic portrait Chiaroscuro in this one, the background gives depth too
rod_grant – striking colours in this one Rod
jacamar – superb lighting and restrained colours, a goodmatch to what I intended!
jchorst - intriguing composition and lighting, certainly makesme want to explore
photojj – very 3d lighting, might benefit from a tightercrop to lose a bit of the top of the picture
DaveSimo – I like this, quite abstract and good use oflimited colour palette
ozwald - classiccomposition and lighting, very painterly, I like this
noelcmn - I like thefact that you can see the light source- an intriguing one
djb47 - beautifullighting, very ethereal
AggieDad - niceflower portrait, very 3d – might work even better in mono
clackers - striking subject, nice lighting

Now the winners - My 1st and 2nd were relatively easy, but 3rd was a real tussle in my head! So so "Honourable Mentions"
Tamia - a wonderful picture but perhaps not 100% on theme- as I said, I'd hang this on my wall!
DaveSimo, Ozwald, Arjay Bee, - all great interpretations!
