Hi all. Happy Thursday.
Here are a few photos from my last weekend. The first several are butterflies and a luna moth (actias sinensis, evidently) seen on Lantau Island in Hong Kong and the last is a dragon boat from the races at Mui Wo (also on Lantau Island) on Sunday. We are closing in on the end of Dragon Boat season, with the Dragon Boat festival, a national holiday, next Tuesday. Dragon Boat races have been going on for something like 2000 years in southern China. The races are generally short sprints around 500m and are physically very demanding. Teams of 22 train for months and the sport is taken pretty seriously.
All of these were taken with my K-5. 1 and 3 with my DA 16-85, 2 and 4 with my DA* 300.
