Winners of Weekly Challenge #399 " In a flash-freeze frame"
Posted By: charliezap, 09-18-2017, 07:36 AM

Here are the winning results of the Weekly Challenge

1st.---NoelCMN--- It certainly fits the bill. I would have liked to have seen a little more of the coin itself but it was captured well enough for the top spot.

2nd.--Dan--Very interesting indeed with the reflections

3rd.--Eva---Nicely done. It doesn't hurt that I'm partial to red wine.

Thanks to all that entered my challenge. I'm looking forward to the next challenge--charliezap

The problem with these experiments of mine is they make more work for me. I must remember that next time. Thank you CharlieZap, I'm pleasantly surprised having taken some 100 shots in my experiment Congrats to Dan and Eva. Not a lot of entries, indicating this is a difficult technique, and those excellent examples from CharlieZap are daunting enough to accept this challenge. Great challenge that certainly got me off the couch and give it a try.
I'll come up with a new challenge as soon as I get over the shock!

Congrats to Noelcmn and eva.

Charliezap, this was both fun and challenging. Like Noelcmn, I took a lot of shots. The difficulty with the spinning object approach was getting the object frozen in the right aspect, at the moment of the shot, plus also in focus, because as things spin on a surface, they generally don't spin in one place, so you not only have limited time to get the shot before it stops spinning, but you are constantly refocusing as it meanders around. The second most difficult thing was to pick your entry from so many shots!

Noelcmn, I had one very much like your entry. My wife liked it best. Guess I should listen to her more often! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Congrats to all the winners. Even though I couldn't participate in this one I still enjoyed looking at all the entries. Looking forward to the next challenge.
