Posted By: noelcmn, 11-01-2017, 03:05 AM

Welcome to Picture of the Week (POTW) for the period 25 October - 7 November 2017 2017. It’s my pleasure to host this week and you are invited to contribute to this wonderful diverse thread.

POTW is a great spot to show off six or fewer shots you take or are editing within the thread's date range. In other words, you can post your shots from this week AND last week.

To post your great photos, just hit reply and attach away

feel free to start immediately, if not sooner

Please:

• consider including in your post any special circumstances or tips on technique or equipment which might be interesting to others.

• identify your camera and lens if that information is easily available to you.

And please invite other Pentaxians to join us.

Some rules:
1) No theme, just post your favorite pix
2) Six or fewer images per person per thread to prevent thread bloat
3) Any Pentax, Ricoh or Samsung camera, film or digital

The current host will invite a new host via Private Message (PM). If possible, the new thread will be linked to the previous one. If the thread doesn't start, please contact the host, via PM.

Thanks for hosting Noel. I have not been shooting too much lately due to declining health. However I did make it to the zoo with my sister and nephew on my birthday.

All with the DA*60-250 on the K-1 in FF mode. I modified the 60-250 to work in FF mode with very minimal vignetting. The day was dull, grey, and wet.

250MM, ISO 800, 1/80s, f4.0

220mm, ISO800, 1/200s, f5.0

250mm, ISO4000, 1/125s, f6.3

220mm, ISO3200, 1/50s, f4 indoors through the dirty glass.

250mm, ISO200, 1/250s, f4.5

180mm, ISO320, 1/60s, f5.0

Shot on a Pentax MX.
Colour shots are Fuji Superia X-tra 400. B&W shots are either Ilford FP4 or Kodak Tri-X 400, can't remember exactly.
Edited in Lightroom.
Used both a 50mm SMC Pentax-M and a 28mm SMC Pentax-A.
