They're all nice photos Noel, and I'm sure no one will be too deceived by a-pier-ances! (Ha-Ha). I love the highlights and starbursts in the first. Looked Addo and Kudu up too - very interesting.

I noticed a crested pigeon collecting nest materials over the road, and positioning myself by the car door took these shots. I'd read somewhere a while ago that sitting in or standing by a car lessens the chance that birds will be startled. I think he really noticed me in the last shot - he didn't seem too worried and continued undeterred. I had the Promura 200mm f.45 preset on my K5 for these photos. The light kept changing while I stood there, and this, along with the texture in his plumage, posed some challenges in processing. These have all had some processing in Topaz.

Hi guys. Some nice shots there. I particularly like the cars on the pier and the last two pigeon shots (and yes, I'm pretty sure he saw you...).

I went for a stroll around Hong Kong today with my two favorite lenses (my DA 70 f2.4 Ltd and my DA*300 Ltd). The first two here were with the 300 and the last with my 70.

I'm pretty sure Kerrowdown could come up with a clever title for #1. The girls were representing Blue Girl Beer at the Hong Kong E-Prix (electric car races) and were getting spritzed with something...

I wouldn't (intentionally) eat any fish caught in Victoria Harbor, but fishing over the rail is pretty popular.

I'm pretty sure the restaurant workers taking a break were checking out the latest POTW on pentaxforums.com!

Walk in Calderdale, Saturday 2nd December

Went out to stretch my legs before meeting friends for drinks and ended up walking 20 miles or so. Took my camera to catch the last of autumn. Light was awful so I am sorry about that!

They're adorable! Like pigeons in fancy hats!

On the bright side, the busy was traveling and I got some lovely shots. On the downside I'm still catching up on sleep, making me even lazier more of a purist when it comes to minimal processing.

The first one is inspired by a friend who brought her DSLR to lunch and found its lens got in the way of the picture. Looking back she was sitting by the wall and I shot this picture. I'll have to fix that watermark inaminnit.

A simple supermoon

I know this couple, and they are just that adorable in person.

Visually the cleanest shot I got that day or it wouldn't be here. The subject, in hindsight, is rather boring.

Cable cars at sunset.
