Weekly Challenge Weekly Challenge #426 - Lines · **1 Like**

Welcome to Weekly Challenge #426 - LINES (in any form: straight, curves, man made or natural)

This week's theme is about lines in any way, shape or form, man made or natural. Lines are everywhere so I will be especially looking for pictures that are unique and creative. Pictures may be colour or B&W whatever you prefer. I added some examples below.

Every week, a new theme is picked and judged by the winner of the previous week or, in case the winner is unable to run the next chalenge, the second place holder.

The Challenge will run until midnight next Tuesday, July 17, 2018, whichever time zone you are in.

Rules
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

Since I mostly shoot landscapes I tried to find a landscape with lines: trees at sunset.

When I took a walk on the Schlossberg (castle hill) in Graz, I came accross the Schlossberg funicular. I wanted to emphases on the way of the funicular and therefore chose a 2 min exposure.

Just verifying - this contest is only for Pentax cameras not open to all cameras correct? I had a shot I was considering and then realized it was made with a GX1 m43 rather than my trusty K-3.

Unfortunately only Pentax cameras are allowed.
