Welcome to the Weekly challenge #435, and for this week I thought I'd go for something easy and accessible, and as wide as could possibly be, to, hopefully, attract a lot more entries, despite that it will probably stress me out. Any thing starting with B is your challenge. WOW me with your images and stun me with your creativity. And if for some reason you are stuck- please consult the Webster's dictionary under "B", you'll soon be mesmerized at the range of subjects you can choose . Below are just a few examples. Black and White images are acceptable as an entry starting with B too. Ready ..... Steady ..... press the shutter.

The challenge will close at Midnight on Sunday 14th October 2018. Judging and winners announced DV, Monday 15th October 2018.

The fine print:
Every week, a new theme is picked and judged by the winner of the previous week.

Rules
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to select and be the judge for the next week's challenge.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax/Ricoh (DSLR) camera can be used as well as P/S cameras.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge

[ was photographing the bird and when it went into the ditch out of view, I saw the gap in the wooden planks of the fence, so I waited for the shot ]

He's not really a bad bird( red shouldered hawk) but he does scare the smaller birds away from the feeders.I shot this from 10ft away through my kitchen window.The background effects were down with the Pentax K5 II on board filters.--charliezap

This is a great theme, but my pictures of bridges, begonias, berries and bicycling just don't belong in with this group. My best ballooning pictures have been bettered by rod_grant and I don't have any pictures of bodacious beauties. So here is my picture of a beer bottle.
