Welcome to the 538th edition of Picture of the Week (POTW), covering 18th February - 3 March 2019. Let's see what you have been shooting these past two weeks. POTW is a great spot to show off six or fewer shots you take or are editing within the thread's date range. In other words, you can post your shots from this week AND last week.

The end of February usually means a change in seasons, as we move (us who live down south of the equator) from Summer to Autumn, and those who live above the equator, its spring time. Let's see if we can make it a mini-theme for this weeks POTW- Seasonal Change. Otherwise just post, post and post!

And as usual, kicking us off- visited Kloofendal Nature Reserve on Sat and Sun, and got a few I liked.
Plenty of young Hyraxes. According to scientists, their closest relatives are Elephants.




Every time I am there, I try to capture the swallows just as they take an sip of water in flight. A long way off with my timing, but still, I liked this one.

Finally got the body of my KS-2 back for aperture block repair (shout out to PC35 who did amazing work, amazingly fast!) and so it meant I got to try out my new Sigma 10-20 3.5. Stella isn't very excited about it, but I can tell this lens and I are going to be great friends.

Winter has been really long here in Ontario, Canada, so I've got limited options for moving around outside in the deep snow. However, I have a small group of whitetail deer in my backyard most days, and I've been photographing them from a small blind back there. Here are a couple of shots from this winter activity... Pentax K-S2, 135mm SMC Pentax F2.5 manual lens.

Floral photography was one of my top objectives when I recently bought a Lensbaby Sol 45. I captured the images below with both the Sol 45 and a Raynox M-150 on my Pentax K-S2. (Cross-posted from Single iIn, K-S2 and Lensbaby threads)
