#476 - Odds and Evens
Posted By: noelcmn, 10-23-2019, 02:23 PM

Thanks to WonderingLisa for # 475, and choosing my first attempt at double exposure.

The weeks challenge is Odds and Evens, calling for entries with images having either an odd number or even number of subjects, i.e. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.... or 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10......

The Challenge will close on midnight Sunday 3rd November 2019.

Rules
1. Post ONE photo.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

I won't change my entry but just to clarify, the idea is to have images with a subject or more, as opposed to patterns, fractions of a subject in the frame, etc? Thanks

I will go with 2
The town I am living in has separate roads for busses and emergency vehicles. This two little fellows wanted to have a discussion right there on one of the roads. I could not resist taking a photo before chasing the to the grass on the side and before the busses came. Fortunately there is only one every 7 minutes.

I think you might be right Shelly. Normally i am a bit on the dark side with my preferences.
If it’s OK with Noel i can change the photo with a “lighter” one.

Correct, mutliples of the same subject ( or just one for that matter, seeing that it is an odd number.

Swans.

No problem here, entries can be deleted, changed or whatever, as long as it is before the closing date.
