Just critters for me this week. All of these were taken with my K-1 mkII, D-FA 100mm macro and my AF080C ring flash.


A wacky-looking Endotricha (a genus of "snout moth"). I tried my hand at a focus stack here because the little guy stayed still enough to let me try it (a little tail movement though):


A leaf hopper nymph. I find these things endlessly fascinating because what these pure white things turn into looks like a nondescript brown moth. They jump like they're spring-loaded:


A pea blue butterfly (I think):


A clear-wing tiger moth.
