Welcome to POTW # 34

This week's photos will cover these dates: Sunday October 26th till Sunday November 8th.

Let's keep up the high standard of shots we have seen over the past weeks.

Rules as before:

1) No theme just your favorite stuff.
2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week .
3) Any Pentax camera is fine, film, P&S, DSLR (or Samsung DSLR)
4) Runs for 14 days. Sunday October 19th to Sunday November 1st.
5) Enter anything you shot last week or this current week until the thread closes.

6 of us just as cheap to take a Limo from the airport and much quicker as the cab lineups were huge ..

The walkway into Ballys (where we always stay)

Out before sun rise first day ... (that changed as the days wore on haha)

Rust never sleeps.......

Kevin C. Great colour/mood in those shots - more K20D envy - thanks .....

A few rusty ones taken just outside a small town called Galetta, just west of Ottawa. Ken.

@Oldschool,
I see you are posting picasaweb-pics into this forum (with the /s800 resizer).
I have given up on this but maybe I've missed some setting?

@Dave,
Nice to see the progression of buildings there in Vegas through your eyes,
here's an older shot of yours and the present one,

My pic is from an abandoned amusement park from the former eastern part of Berlin.

@all
Always a joy to scroll through your photos in this thread! You might consider also throwing your pics here (resize to 712 and upload)

Thanks for the comments Dave. Amazing to me walking on the tracks and thinking about how much work went into laying the original railways and bridges across the country. Re NY - showing my age. Ken.

Dave,
yes it's a reflection put upside down.

About your two shots I've posted, I just realized how different the spacing is with the fisheye, everything looks much farther away.

Best, Georg (the other)

bbap103 - haha I have seen Neil Young in concert and it was great. Showing my age my first concert was the Bee Gee's well before their Saturday Night Fever days - best concert was Supertramp.

Georg here are few more close ups for ya

Just one for now. I'm going through my first rolls of film shot in a dozen plus years. This one stopped me dead in my tracks as I was reviewing the scans.

PZ-1, FA 50/1.4, Ilford HP5

I can't decide whether to clone out the dark background in the upper left or leave it.
edit: I decided to clone it out.

Thanks, Dave, much appreciated. Most of my "planned" shots don't come out this good.

And yes, I'm starving.
