We had a good response and a lot of good choices.
I wish I had the time to make comments on them all.

Honorable mentions:
Dame Brit: good capture of the emotions. Appropriate for tonight
daacan: Did you come out ahead? I was told once not to take pictures in the casino
Than the sword: I like the flute man. Was he playing at the time when he was looking down?
Kevindt: if it wasn't for the background this would be higher. I love the face on the women.
FletcherKane: That guitar player was really into his song. Great capture of the face.

3rd place: MikeL fisherman. I love that the 3 are all in synch and everyone else is hanging out


2nd place. Ve2VFD: firemen on active roof. Good detail on the action with the axe in the air and fire right there.

1st place: Bramela: wood carver. I like the nature of this picture and you caught his hands doing something interesting and him concentrating on the work.

Bruce, well done, it's a shame you couldn't have posted it in conjunction with your carved tree pictures. That would have been real story telling.
