Welcome to POTW # 35

This week's photos will cover these dates: Sunday November 2nd till Sunday November 16th.

Let's keep up the high standard of shots we have seen over the past weeks.

Rules as before:

1) No theme just your favorite stuff.
2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week .
3) Any Pentax camera is fine, film, P&S, DSLR (or Samsung DSLR)
4) Runs for 14 days. Sunday November 2nd to Sunday November 16th.
5) Enter anything you shot last week or this current week until the thread closes.

Wow! That bellows shot is sick!

Here are a couple of feeble macro attempts with Tamron SP 90mm/2.5 + matched 2x converter

Thanks guys. It's that Tak 105mm. It is so much better than the old 105 mm Focal I had.

Where is everyone?

Good macro shoots Maxwell1295 and I see those helped sell the lens.

Peter, I like the last shot of yours! Is it some kind of a glass work?

Thanks Gawan. actually no. We had a very large pumpkin in a little display in front of the house. The birdbath had some ice from the other night and I noticed the ice had a lot of air bubbles frozen in place. I just carried the ice over to the pumpkin and got out the tripod.

The neighbours are completely positive I've lost any marbles I once might have had...

Peter, super shots but the third one is stunning and so creative.

Alan, the first one is a locky shot and the second one is perfect for a dirty sensor.

Tom, glad you got the Kingfisher at last although you haven't been short of subject matter while you've been stalking him. Have you cropped the Eagle or are you really lucky he wasn't any closer?Neat work.

Jimbo, I've already commented on those fine shots.

Stellar start to the week guys.

Macros

These were photographed during a macrophotography workshop taught by Mike Moats in Dearborn, Michigan. By the way, Mike recently published a macrophotography book with superb images. (I have no commercial interest in this.)

Borno, You are getting really good at this. The 2 in flight sots are excellent and I like the 2nd shot as well. I've seen Kingfishers twice this smmer and they are the toughest of any bird I've tried to approach. I'm thinking of getting a blind for next year and doing some camping out in a few good spots.

Jimbo, No problem, just glad you could join in. I like both shots. The second has a onderful sky and the look is somewhat moody overall.

Smf looks like the course paid off. Excellent shots all 3. My favourite is the first one.
