Here's my contribution for the week. My wife and I went out for a night hike in a nature reserve here in Hong Kong. Lots of little critters. Did a little walking around town before our safari. All photos taken with my K-1 Mk II. The first two with my 43mm f1.9 Ltd and the rest with my D FA 100mm WR macro (with my still relatively new AF160FC ring flash).

It's the first time I see one, whoa

I have photos shot with the same k1ii kit, fist fa 43 and second dfa 100 macro Inspired by one of the film simulation threads, I'm testing jpeg settings, it's based on the muted profile with slight tweaks and a magenta tint, not looking much like film anymore

Thanks for hosting, I've never saw a caterpillar like that either, and it is a great photo of it.

Surfcasting from 7 November, on a barrier island with only boat access, my son in law has a boat.

On the 10th rain came down in the backyard while it was sunny, it was just sprinkling in the front yard

Yesterday afternoon I took a drive through Holly Shelter Game Lands, a large nature preserve just a couple miles away, it has a few areas that are pretty different from each other, this is the swamp area:

And this is the Long Leaf Pine Savannah:

Hello, this is first time I'm trying to post POTW, so thanks for hosting and I hope I got the style of such post right.
All the pictures are from a November 7 trip to hill Zebin and nearby sight Valdstejn's Loggia in Czech Republic and a stop near Konecchlumi on the way back. Everything taken with K-70 in RAW, finishing touches in RawTherapee. Most of the time I use either P and changing the aperture as needed or TAV mode and Auto ISO.

View from slope of Zebin towards the ruins Trosky visible on the horizon.

Did I say the trip was to a hill and a nearby sight? Of course I have taken pictures of the chapel on the hill top and the Loggia itself, but these were not so interesting as the ones above in my opinion. How typical.

From this morning in my yard. Our little maple tree still has a few leaves on it.

Goofing around with macros in my basement this past week.

And a couple frosty pictures from today out on a little quad ride with my daughter and our cameras.

All pictures taken with a Pentax K3 and Sigma 105 f2.8 macro.

Great series! Hard to decide which one I like best, but the surf-casting photo is definitely a winner.

Thanks for joining us Tomas! I especially like the church and pigeons photo but I'm also a sucker for butterflies and cats...

The frost pictures are great!

Sorry I'm late this week. I had a hard-drive melt-down that interrupted my weekly schedule. Catastrophe averted at least... I'll get another POTW started...

Thank you. I wish I'd taken more time and tried a bit different framing, but it's a bit late now. I think the weird octagonal out of focus branch is a bit distracting, and it would have been nice to get a closer shot to avoid cropping.
