Caption Dec 6-Dec 13
Posted By: gump, 12-06-2020, 04:32 AM

SELL THIS PROPERTY! I offer this a general theme BUT it should not limit your creativity.

Contest ends at midnight Dec 5, 2020.

Any forum member may invent and post a caption for the photo as a reply in this thread.

All readers of the thread, including those posting captions are encouraged to vote for any and all of the captions they appreciate by "Liking" them using the Forum's LIKE feature ('thumbs up" turns green when clicked). At the end of the contest period, the host will compare the votes and report who won. In the case of a tie, the Host will break the tie (possibly a third entry), but will not otherwise submit a caption or vote.

The winner will be notified ASAP by the current host by PM and posting the winner in this thread. The new Host should post a link in this thread to the new contest thread.

Submissions should be via text (no video or audio files) - any caption, limerick, motivational poem or verse or prose is permitted - whatever inspires you to describe the photo or catch attention. Contestants may submit more than one entry but it must be in a separate post for voting purposes.

IMPORTANT:

Even if you do not submit an entry, please "like" any postings you feel deserve it as this is how the winner is chosen. If you DO SUBMIT an entry, please also find an entry that you like among your competitors efforts and "like" at least one of them as well. Enter often, vote more often, and most importantly, HAVE FUN !!! Remember, you can 'vote' for more than one entry if you choose to do so.

If the image is too big for you, edit your account "Settings and Options" for a smaller display size.

No! Our motel is not "AAA approved lodging" yet. But we are in process of certification.

Handyman's dream!
Young lovers, here's your chance to move out from mom and dad's basement and have a home of your very own.
The previous owners liked it's rustic charm and sense of airiness, but who knows - You may wish to add a lick of paint and a little touch here and there.

Faced with a three-way, or was it four way, I chose Big Dave as the winner. It was a close-run thing. The responses were excellent. I did a bit of PP to make the building a bit more "rustic" than it actually was. It is located in the plaza of Rancho de Taos, New Mexico, amid other structures, most in better condition. The whole is dominated by the Church of San Francisco de Asis. It is an amazing photo location. At least Ansel Adams thought so, whoever he was.
