Weekly Challenge #559 - Water in motion · 04:13 AM

Again thanks to Pelto for the last challenge.

This week I have decided on a theme of water in motion. I am not looking at the obvious and popular waterfalls but rather streams, waves or any other interpretatio of the theme.

A few examples from stop action to abstract patterns formed by long exposures.

The challenge ends on November 1 and I'll post results shortly after.

Rules
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

The little Native American resort town of La Push is one of a few scenic and auto-accessible Pacific beaches in the state. A short hike to Second Beach, now closed to do COVID concerns, brings you closer to these dramatic, unique sea stacks. I was there following a spring storm, while waves were still strong. Standing on the sand, you feel the waves are on top of you- especially if you're looking through a DA*300 with a K-1, cropped.
