WEEKLY CHALLENGE #569- Still life with keys
Posted By: noelcmn, 01-28-2022, 11:15 PM

This weeks challenge-Still life with keys, inspired my by bunches of keys lying on my table last night before went to bed!

The challenge will close on Sunday 6 February 2022 SAST 24:00. Closure and Judging will happen on Monday morning the 7th, seeing that I will most likely be asleep when it reaches 24:00. That gives some time zones a few extra hours.

Rules
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

Some examples from my collection

Alternative interpretations are welcome too

GO FOR IT AND GOOD LUCK!

Nice challenge Noel, unfortunately I have only one photo that would sort of qualify, but that was not shot on a Pentax and also not by me but my lte wife. So I will have to wait for next weeks challenge to participate again.

Even better, I discovered that I took a photo on the same location as my wife with a Pentax, but I never uploaded it to Flickr.
The location is an old inn. And I mean realy realy old. It is located just outside the soukh in Sousse, Tunisia. A couple of kilometers north of where you are located Noel. I still consider that my second home country even though going is impossible due ro Covid regulations and going alone is not the same as going together.

Love the colors and position of this image Kerrowdown- an air of the Cutty Sark with the aesthetic.

I had a hard time thinking what to do with this challenge. My car keys are electronic fobs, not real interesting, we have keypad locks on the house, and when we moved here a couple years ago I threw a lot of old orphaned keys away. I have a key to a shed, which is just a cheap stamped uninteresting key. There is the key to my dry cabinet, so that's what this is, with a lot of reflection, I figured it was more interesting while in the lock. Maybe I'll re-shoot it and try to get rid of the reflections, but maybe it's better with them.
