Weekly Challenge #588 - Starburst/Sunburst · 10:29 AM

Welcome to Weekly Challenge #588. Thanks to Vaskebjorn/ Richard for the last challenge. I like starburst/sunburst effect as a compliment to the main picture so why not honoring it a personal challenge.
For me it is not easy to balance between this effect and the overall quality of the picture and the balance is a matter of sense. So this is the challenge for you this week.
I hope you will like and enjoy it enough to participate.

The fine print:

Every week, a new theme is picked and judged by the winner of the previous week.

The Challenge will run until midnight Sunday 28 August 2022 EDST. Judging will happen (hopefully) on Monday. Good luck!

Rules
1. Post ONE photo.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

Great challenge Yaki and I have been browsing my photo’s on Flickr a bit. Took me 22 pages to get to this one. It was on a misty morning and i wanted the mist, a sunburst and a flare in one photo. I had to get the sun in the corner for that though. There was also very strange light as you can see.

Technically, this challenge is closed, though I am sure Yaki meant 26th and not the 19th. (and better check the days and dates Yaki). Anyway, just in case the Judge decides to close it after all

Yes, this is a technical mistake - and I corrected it
