Winners - PROJECT 52-11-25- CAMERA AND LENS CONTROL-The Wide Angle
Posted By: ramseybuckeye, 03-07-2023, 01:14 PM

We had a small but capable group of participants for this challenge, I'll go over my impressions of each and then crown the winner.

Yaki: Showing off the capabilities of the 15 in portrait orientation is a good idea. I like the playground equipment as a foreground and then a city scene in the background. Not the most interesting picture I've seen from you, but it really is a good example of a kind of framing that can only be done with the very wide angle.

John: Very nice framing to get the entire rhino (and the Gnome) into the frame, and a very nice crop to complete a nice composition. I had no idea that metal rhinos roamed the streets of Zurich.

Don: Very nice photo of the tree in blossom. The wide angle here is giving us an good idea of the whole setting, I love your backyard!

Noel: Our only wide angle "vista" type phot, or as close to one as we got. I'd like to see it a little brighter in the sky, but a good sample none the less.

Jason: And we finally have an architectual use of the wide angle, but not a real wide angle and not typical where we see the whole building. But to me you have showed some important parts of the architecture, in how the turret and the tower come together, and some of the fine detail of the building.

Well I like Jason's photo the best so he is declared the winner. Everybody else is a close second.

Well done all!
