Many thanks to Kerrowdown for a very interesting Weekly Challenge #627, and choosing my image as the winner.
I thought for this week we'd make the challenge as wide as possible and hopefully attract even more entries. I spy with my eye something beginning with A-Z. Anything from the Alphabet, the choice is yours, as far as subject is concerned. However, there is one limitation- and that is that the
IMAGE MUST BE TAKEN IN THE YEAR 2023. . The idea being that we can see and appreciate that you have been active as a Photographer this year. This is a "Hard and fast rule" and transgressors will be persecuted, imprisoned, banned etc. (remember Adam and the Moderators are on my side)

. Seriously though, we all recognise that life often may render us incapable to go out and do what we so love-taking photographs. So if for some reason you have not been able to go out and shoot this year, you are welcome to enter a photo from 2022, or even before that. Just give us an idea of why this is so. For the rest, please give us the date when the image was taken.
This challenge will close at midnight SAST on Saturday 7th October 2023.
Time to show off! Good luck
Rules:
1. Post ONE photo only.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax or Ricoh camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.
