Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to another round of Pentaxforums' one and only Weekly Challenge. Last week's theme was fittingly grave, thanks again Kerrowdown for hosting such a demanding challenge. To lift up everybody's spirits, my theme for the next contest is "Let's Party!" I'm confident most of you have taken pictures at a party at some time in the past, so let me see what you've got. The party can be a wedding, a birthday, aa festival, a merry crowd on the street... or maybe the aftermath of a party. I post one example to get you in the mood. Have fun!

This challenge will close at 20.00 CET on Saturday 25th November 2023.

Rules:
1. Post ONE photo only.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the winners and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus an additional day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax or Ricoh camera can be used.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, they will PM the #2 winner for that person to be the judge.

my theme for the next contest is "Let's Party!"

Bring it on! I'm always up for a good party. Lately I've been taking a lot of pictures at parties, there is this pub called J'ai Bistrot (which i highly recommend if you're visiting Bucharest) and the story is that I was taking a lot of pictures there anyways whenever they had parties, so they have started to offer me free drinks every time I take pictures. It's nice of them because I have no obligation whatsoever, I can just go and drink as much as I want for free and don't take even one single picture. But usually I do take a quite a few pictures which they post on their social media.

Since that picture already won a challenge but I forgot about it, here's a more recent one from an improvised vinyl street party.

This photo from my partners' dad's wedding of him, his stepsister, and the wedding photographer in the background is not the best quality photo I've ever taken, but it has the movement of their enthusiasm in it and that makes me feel happy. Taken with my Pentax K-70 and my 35mm macro.
