Project 52, Week 47 - At the Market

Project 52, Week 47 - At the Market · 08:30 AM

From Italian meat markets to flea markets, super markets to mini-marts...anywhere there are jolly people selling things.

Rules:

1. Anyone and everyone who is interested is eligible
2. Make an attempt to effectively capture the theme of the week
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme
4. Some post-processing is OK (adjusting white balance, exposure, color saturation) but let's try to stay away from heavily PP'ed images here. let's try to keep the creativity to photographic techniques and the captures themselves
5. There is one theme labeled black and white, but feel free to post black and white, sepia, etc. for any of the other themes
6. Have fun, provide constructive and friendly criticism, and fire away
7. You may post pictures taken before the current active week; however, only photos captured during the active week will be judged.

This week's theme - At the Market - will run from today until Sunday, May 10th.

Pouring rain today so chances for pictures are limited. Thankfully the K20D/DA*50-135 are fairly waterproof!

I went to the markets nice and early with my girlfriend today. Took the *istD and a 28-200. Forgot about the photos and left them in the car

A bit of a display of olives and dips at the Queen Victoria Market. It's become a weekly project to take a different lens with me each week and pop off a few pics while getting the week's food.
