Went out to Eastern Creek yesterday.
Fought with glare, a cheap CPL that killed focus and rubbed shoulders with some sort of god (pictured below).
Also got told (by some other guy) that setting up a tripod and a camera with MF fixed on the corner and taking shots with a remote cable was "doing things the hard way". Even though I can chat to friends and fire off shots without having to squint through a viewfinder. On top of that every shot is a keeper unless the subject decided to run wide and put themselves out of frame.
Made some nice Panos out of a couple of shots. Top one definitely works, but the bottom one, only the rider I was actively tracking is sharp. Not sure if this is good or bad. Just wish I got all the foreground riders sharp because I love the spacing.
And one wide angle with a (dirty) $7 CPL possibly causing more harm than good.
