Weekly Challege #103 - "Broken"

Hoping again that we can get lots of entries with a topic that can be interpreted in many ways. Broken may be something that is physically in disrepair, it might be an emotion, or it might be something entirely different - I leave that up to you to interpret and to show.

Challenge concludes midnight July.15 (next Wednesday). Judging/results to follow on July.16 (Thursday) evening.

Good luck and most importantly - have fun!!

-----------------------------------------
The fine print....

1. Post ONE photo (max 1000x1000).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme. It can be color or B&W, your choice.
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

Looks like a pretty well executed spinning hook kick. Is that a red or orange belt? What system?

It is a red belt (He is now testing for black belt). The white balance between my flash and the overhead lights is a bit tricky. I decided to keep the skin tones natural looking instead of the belt and the floor mats (also red). The martial arts is called Kuk Sul Do, which is a Korean based martial arts.

Cool , I figured from his age and the type of break he did that it was a red belt in a Korean system. My kids and I are practioners / students of Tae Kwon Do Mu Duk Kwan ( Also Korean) . My oldest got his Jr. Black Belt last Summer at age 12. He will help teach and continue to study but will not test again until age 18. We just started working with my baby girl age 5 . She will be interesting!
Encourage the kids to stick with it . The arts are a tremedous character builder!
