PROJECT 52-2-05 Architecture: Interior
Posted By: mithrandir, 07-31-2009, 09:47 PM

Our Assignment for Week 5 looks for Unusual Interior Architectural Details that catch your eye.
(Pictures to be taken and posted between 20090802 and 20090809).
Rules:
1. Anyone and everyone who is interested in eligible. The goal continues to be
have fun and share comments, concepts, insights, and techniques with fellow
Pentaxians.
2. Each week will feature a Theme and Sub-concept for you to explore.
3. Post your single picture in Project 52-2 thread for the week. Explain what
motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly
theme.
4. Some post-processing is OK (adjusting white balance, exposure, color
saturation), but let's try to stay away from heavily PP'ed images here. Try to
keep the creativity to photographic techniques and the captures themselves.
5. There is one “Theme Concept” labeled “black and white,” but feel free to post
black and white, sepia, monotone, etc., for any of the other themes.
6. The picture you post should be taken during the week in which the theme is
active to be eligible for judging.
7. Any picture taken from 20090705 to listed closing date is acceptable for the
two “Seasonal” competitions – Projects 52-2-51 & 52.

The place where I work (in the corridor on the left, the last but one door). It doesn't look like an interior, but it is ...
Rense,
Can I get a job where you work?

Steve

(Seriously jealous...really seriously jealous...)

Haha Steve, it's a great place indeed. You can always try of course....
I like your organ shot - being an organ player myself - and the Zenitar has found some good use there - being a active Zenitar user myself too (as you can see in my submission....) .

This is the shot that I should have submitted (Bruce...please do not include in judging). It is a much stronger composition and actually more in line with the original challenge. The only reason I didn't is that it is not the photo I originally intended and was really sort of a accident that presented as I was reviewing images. It is a 100% crop from the Zenitar 16 of a much larger image! Cropping is a good tool, but there is a limit!

Really can't complain about that Zenitar!

Steve

(Should really go back and do this shot the right way...with a short to moderate tele...)

Here is mine: I had hoped to get downtown today, there is are several wonderful office bldg lobbys that are exquisite. Unfortunately not to be. Here is a shot of an interior watergarden at the NewYork Botanical Gardens instead.
