Winners: 52-2-05 Architecture Interior
Posted By: Bramela, 08-10-2009, 02:34 AM

Congratulations to all entrants for some great photos. It was not that easy to split them.
I have taken some time to come up with my decisions.
So please go easy on the judge

HIGHLY COMMENDED

JanVan : A nice shot in a very good location for an interior photo. Those curves are great, but I am distracted by the handrail in the foreground. Maybe it was unavoidable, but perhaps it could have been taken at a slightly different angle.

Stevebrot : A really beautiful shot of a magnificent organ. I would have liked to see a bit of the church/building for purposes of the topic. Not a criticism of the shot itself however.

Rense : A cool relaxing situation and a nice relaxing photo. The outside brought inside we could say.

4TH Place: NcClH20

Cool and almost not an interior type shot. Love the glasshouse and again, the outside brought inside. Beautiful shot of a lovely setting.

3RD Place Axl

A really nice shot of a vaulted ceiling. Dramatic lighting makes for a great shot.

2ND Place MrApollinax

A rather intriguing shot. I looked at this long and hard to work out what exactly is the building. Very sharp, great colour and tone, and very original composition. Nicely done.

And the WINNER is....Danloc78

I really like this shot. Very well composed, I like the angle, the subtle light and reflection in the polished floor all makes for a great shot. Very well done.

I repeat I was impressed with the standard of all entries, and trying to separate many of them was not easy.
So congrats to the winners and, indeed, to all.

Dan...yours is definitely a winner and was from the day you posted it. Good work.

For all the other participants, what a bunch of winning shots!

Bruce...Thanks for the comments. Here is a photo (not mine) of the interior of the church during a choral practice.

Wonderful series. I really enjoyed following this one (even though I didn't get a chance to get out and take one myself.) I would have found judging this one a very difficult task. Great job on judging Bruce.
