Weekly Challenge #108: Parent/Child Candids

Subjects can be any age. Clarification: Photos should include at least one parent and one child.

The challenge will close on September 3 and winners will be posted the following day. I'm a little anxious about the judging part but looking forward to seeing the submissions.

The fine print....

1. Post ONE photo (max 1000x1000).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

My entry, shown before, but it qualifies I guess. Totally strangers, so I am not sure whatsoever if they realy have a parent-child relationship. But I like the photo myself...

Shot in May this year, during our Liberation Day.

I have too many to choose from that would fit this challenge.

Here's one of my favourites though... This one was taken up at my in-law's farm. My sister-in-law and niece sharing a moment in the sun as we were up at the barn looking at the new livestock that had arrived.

These are my husband and our younger daughter. I couldn't miss to cath this sweet moment of laugh and happiness. Also you see they are dressed much alike - how to resist to shoot it? :-))

Did some shots last weekend at my niece's baptism. This is afterwards back at their house. I like the way my brother is looking at his daughter as if to say "What do you see?" as she holds the curtain open and peers outside.
