Thanks for hosting, John. Keeping to the swimming theme ...

I went to the beach again on Saturday. This guy must have been asleep. There was hardly any wind, so how he went for a swim is a mystery. Of course, when there's not enough wind to tip you over, there's not enough to blow you back up again.

We popped out for dinners last night with footpath seating which gave me a bit of an excuse to try out the Pentax 50 f1.2 in kind of low light conditions.

It's been a slow week for pics with all the rain...

Nice week all . I have been soo busy and well this time of year sucks as evverythng is brown and we still have no snow. I am not complaining about the no snow but it does not inspire any photographic outings.

WHat Novemeber does have is the kids birthdays ! My daughter left her teens (20) and my son turned 18 - legal age here in Alberta (thus the shot in his first bar - well legally anyway haha)

John, thanks for hosting. Nice images so far this week. Another indoor swim meet this weekend. I decided to use the K20 at 3200 this week to see how the nose compares to last week's K7 shots. PP is the same as last week -- picture window 5.0 to process raw DNGs and then resized to post. IMHO, the K& handles better in this situation but the K20 noise performance is better. Dave

Excellent selection again this week! Just to add more mix, here's a wet zinnia bud taken with the K20D & Sigma 105mm Macro (which I haven't used much recently) and a close-up taken in the woods with the SMC-A 35-105mm (of which I'm very fond.) Yeah, we've got these things going on simultaneously

That is Grossinger's Resort in Liberty, NY.

It has stood empty since 1986.
