Weekly Challenge #121 - Negative Space

The challenge explained:
Negative space is all the space inside the picture that is not the subject. It is the space between an object, around an object, but is not part of the actual object itself. Accentuate your subject by using empty space. To do that, the background should be monotonous and boring yet complement the subject.

The fine print....
1. Post ONE photo (max 1000x1000).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

I have always wanted take this shot and really look forward to some more experimentation with my new toy. This is with a k10d ISO400 f16 at 1/180 at 300mm.
I guess I have to admit that I am hooked when the theme for a challenge (negative space) pops into my head when dozing off!!
