PROJECT 52-2-29 Low Angle Shot WINNERS
All contestants and viewers thanks, it's a bit scary to do this judging, above all to do it in English, languages are not my strongest point, so I'll keep it sort and simple.

deacon: Dave, original angle for a self portrait, looking straight forward is a plus, the lamp and tree fit well in the composition.

mithrandir: Rob, what an endless tree, fine DOF and bright colors.

Rense: Rense, nice low shot of this special building, I like the cubic shape and I am curious what lens you have used for this one.

jheu02: John, you really made a Maxi of this Mini, nice contrasting colors, a pity about the shadow on the right.

Tamia: Tamia, a bit difficult and restless not really an eye-catcher, but a nice shadow.

xs400: Frank, nice tight framed portrait, the low oblique angle works fine here.

seacoast: Ken, so this cat dominates, great angle, I think that because of the light above, his/her eye is a little to dark.

Iris: Iris, a good point of view for an low angle shot, straight lines leading upstairs, and a nice curve of the other stairs.

DanLoc78: Dan, how low can you go? I think is is perfect, very low, dynamic angle, beautiful DOF and a strong B&W conversion.

So this is my Top 3.

Third: mithrandir

Second: daacon

First: DanLoc78

Willem,
Thanks for a great job of judging. Congrats to Dave and Dan. Once again, I have learned both from the judge's comments and the submitted shots. May the next topic be as profitable.

Congrats Dan. Excellent shot. This would have been my choice as well.

Thanks Wllm for doing the judging, and thanks for all the comments.

Kudos Dan, Dave and Mithrandir! Wllm... you're right about my bike/shadow shot. It was taken in desperation during a week when I was stuck inside my small apartment. Thanks for doing such a good job judging.

Dan, congrats on the first place, it would have been my pick too!
Dave and Rob, congrats to you both too!
And Willem, thanks for judging and commenting on every shot, it's quite a job! My entry was shot with the Zenitar 16/2.8 fish-eye...

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It's been a while since I've been out shooting...my camera was recently in the shop. It felt great to get out and be creative again. Congrats to Dave and Mithrandir. Like you say mithrandir...this is a great project for learning from everyone, I'm glad to be a part of it.

Nice job judging Wllm. Thanks for the honor of being first! On to opposites...I see the bar has already been set pretty high.

P.S. Wllm...fine job with English!!! If you hadn't said anything, I would have continued to think English was your first language.
