Welcome to 110th edition of the Pentax Forum's Picture of the Week!
This edition covers photos taken between April 11th thru April 25th.

Thanks to Tom (tpeace) for hosting last week and giving me the nod for my first effort at hosting POTW. I look forward to seeing a lot of great images from everyone this week as I really gain inspiration by seeing what others here are shooting and posting.
POTW is a great way to see what Pentax owners are doing with their cameras as they post whatever pictures they took during the active week. Check in here to see a nice variety of great photos.

So grab your camera, get out there and shoot! Then come on back here and share your shots with your fellow Pentaxians!

Feel free to post your photos from this coming week, as well as this last week!

Again same rules and really other than time frames, there are no rules:

1) No theme, just post your favorite pix.

2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week.

3) Any Pentax camera or Samsung DSLR is fine, whether it's film, P&S, or DSLR

4) Date: Sunday 11 April 2010 to Sunday 25 April 2010. Enter anything you shot last week or during this current week until the thread closes. Old shots with a new look from post processing during the open time period are also welcome.

5) The current host will appoint the new host as an invitation via PM. If possible, the new thread will be linked to the previous one and the new thread will start between 12:00EST and 5PM EST on the Sunday. If the thread doesn't start, please contact Peter Zack, Moderator via PM.

Hi all,

I have been a bit of an absent host this week but was flooded with work issues and that ran right into my other hobby.....my boat.
Just picked her up from winter storgae and have a FULL day of cleaning and painting tomorrow.

Here is a "before" picture.

Nice boat Keith. I went to one of my other sister's houses today to do a bit of computer repair, after finishing, I decided to walk around her yard. Below is what I found while there.

And I call this one Golden Fleece:

Just a quick snapshot of my boat at the end of a grueling day!
Epoxy, sand, tack cloth, paint (2coats), wash, wax, add decals......phew....launching tomorrow!!

wow, those wine shots are nice! and whoever was pouring definately has got skill. i also started taking some flower photos, which is a new thing for me. i can definately appreciate those above now more, i especially like that dandy lion one!

I took a trip to chicago, so these are mostly from there, and I was using my new 28mm guy. I honestly had a tough time doin manny focus so alot of my pics came out fuzzy, but i tried to make do with what i got.

jezza323 -- sunday morning infrared: absolutely beautiful! As I said in another thread, I am itching to try infrared myself as it's something I have never done.

bumbibop: Thanks for the good word about the surf spray shot. Unfortunately it was taken one day before the opening of the liquid challenge, so it is not legal.

Astrid: A cat arising out of the bokeh like some mythological creature, except a lot cuter!

Rense -- "One made this morning": brilliant sharp ant and amazing petal texture.

Kebabs: That third shot of the highrise in Chicago has both brilliant structure, shape and colour -- I'm sure looks great large.
