Ivan Gilsin!! Congratulations Ivan! I thought this was just an excellent photo that was executed absolutely perfectly! Great job on this one. Your turn now!

Can't argue with those choices (well I could where is mine! ) - nicely done all - there was certainly a diverse interpretation of simplicity nice to see. Now let's see if Ivan chooses 'complexity' for a subject matter hahah

Hope it's ok to say, but you were 1st in my book ... I guess it's true tho that it wasn't as 'simple' as the winner; ok I acquiece on that opinion . Maybe it's just that I have over 300 bottles of wine ... but I'd love to have a poster size of that shot framed! Thumbs Up!

Not that I have any place to suggest, but I'd suggest "Very Yellow". I find it's the hardest to shoot; tough to maintain detail and contrast. Could illustrate technical skillz.

Conggrats to all!

Some great entries and I feel all deserve a "well done"
I agree with the choices for 1st-3rd.
Personally I feel a highly commended and special mention to Arpe for his monochrome of swan under the light. Was my first pick and I was very impressed with your effort in that one.. Well done, mate

Is there any backup plan in case the winner goes awol? how about let the 2nd place winner do the next contest? how long do we wait for the 1st place winner to respond?

Cheers mate, I like it too!

That's one thing I like about this challenge, the choices are different to mine so it makes you think about the winners, and hopefully think about your next photo more.

I'm up for that, and I think that 3-4 days should be long enough.

I think that most of us have a pretty good idea if we'll be gone when they announce the winners.
If you feel you might be gone at the time please write it down in your submission thread. That way the judge can figure something out
