Here we go.. I looked at the list below and every bright idea I had was pretty well covered in a previous challenge or too restricted to certain cameras. So, Let's open this up a little bit and have some fun, shall we??

Let us see your Once in a lifetime lucky snapshot. That is, the shot that you were fortunate to to be in the right place at the right time, with a camera, but could not possibly or easily repeat. It can be any subject matter you wish, Just explain what makes it once in a lifetime for you. Maybe you caught Halley's Comet as it flew past earth in 1984 (film shots do apply as long as with Pentax, I'll trust your word).

The fine print....
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

It was first evening of our honeymoon. We flew to Luxor, boarded the boat and were enjoying cup of tea.

Another nature shot. I have loads of squirrels in my backyard, but mostly they just run up and over tree limbs. This one found a banana peel and I thought this might be a once in a lifetime shot.

This was an easy selection for me. I've shot a lot of wrecks at motorcycle races, but it's very doubtful I'll ever catch something like this again.

There were a couple of images I thought about including Bill Clinton speaking at our commencement last year. This isn't even that great of an image. However, my youngest son graduated from high school 3 years ago after battling autism ever since being diagnosed at 2 1/2. He just completed his 3rd year in college although it will probably take him 2 to 3 more to finish. However, 10 years ago it was bleak at times. He actually has a DL and vehicle and drives himself to school and work. So to say the least this day and image is special.
