Here's a few from a rather dimly-lit concert a while back, when I was still using my K-5. My dad was the first owner of this lens; it came with his M-X back in the day. These were all taken with the aperture wide open.

Reason why I brought the M and not the F version of this lens (which I use more often) is that I prefer the focusing ring of the M for manual focusing; especially useful when doing video (below). I rarely do this type of photography anymore, so the lens doesn't get much use, but still, it's a nice piece of kit.

This is an image made with a very well used (pretty much worn out mechanically) M-50 1.7 I inherited from my Grandfather. Despite its sloppy mechanism the optics still shown through on this dark and dreary late fall afternoon at the pond. (Downsized and converted to B&W)

There is something about the feel of the old manual Pentax lenses. I picked up a 50/1.7 at a garage sale for $6 and it really makes me appreciate the simple things.

I've spent more time with this lens on the camera than any other, and usually wide open. I photograph plants, for the most part, and the rendering is often just magical.

Beautiful photographs everyone. Here's a few that I took. Took a screenshot of the ladybug zoomed in on my phone, so you could see the detail.
